AVMM Hosts Special Volunteers from Sunderji Institute of Special School, Pune

AnandVan(AVMM) Pune had the privilege to have children with special needs from Sundarji Institute of Special School, Pune.
These kids often do well with visual learning in the natural and green world.
Activities in the outdoors can also lead to better focus and concentration for a student.
Those with social, emotional, and mental health who don’t normally enjoy reading – are more eager to get outside into nature, and it provides a quiet space for them as nature is the best healer.
The urban forest provides a new setting to take on the new challenges, and learn life skills without even realizing it and they get to benefit from nature.
It helps them to relieve stress and anxiety, develop social skills, motivates learning, and allows them to be practical, responsible, and active.
