To ensure that the newly planted trees survive and the growth of the tree remains unaffected, today our volunteers were involved in Mulching, as it is an important activity that can also be done around established trees. Just spread a deep layer of mulch proper over the prevailing grass.

It maintains soil and roots cool and moist in the forest.

With this activity, our trees will thank us for this service, and we will get to enjoy their long-term benefits in the future.

The efforts by young volunteers are being appreciated in wake of the increasing need for urban forests, and it’s wonderful to see that they take this as a good opportunity to spend quality time in making Urban forests and bring a change in society.
