On the eve of Children’s day, AnandVan(AVMM) Pune is thankful to Ms Rita Katawati Principal at Hutchings High School and Junior College who helped us in the plantation of saplings so that they soon grow into beautiful and tall trees so that birds can make their homes at AnandVan
She is also mentioned that she will encourage her students to join the Urban forest movement.
She feels that children should also be exposed to environmental awareness
Trees are important to the environment. They provide us with fresh air to breathe, a shelter for birds and animals to ensure that the ecological balance is maintained.
