Anandvan was a bustle of activities this morning, with
70 students from the Kalyani School and 30 students from Hutchings School joining in.
What was all the buzz about, you ask?
Well, Anandvan is gearing up for the upcoming plantation season! The students and volunteers worked together to fill grow bags at the nursery and remove weeds.
The excitement reached its peak when a truck arrived with 1000 bamboos saplings, which were then unloaded by the volunteers. Bamboos can produce a high amount of oxygen and grow quite rapidly.
This is why we look forward to planting these bamboos all across Anandvan and enjoying these precious additions to our fast-expanding urban forest.
