To make sure that the newly planted trees survive and the growth of the tree remains unaffected, today our volunteers were involved in cleaning the growth of noxious weeds near to newly planted saplings so that the water absorbs the tree roots fully and growth is healthy.

With this activity, our trees will thank us for this service and we will get to enjoy their long-term benefits in the future.

The efforts by young volunteers are being appreciated in wake of the increasing need for urban forests and it’s great to see that they take this as an good opportunity to spend quality time in making Urban forests and bring a change in society.
