Inauguration of Anandvan Dense Forest in Anandvan 2

Anandvan Foundation partnered with Forest Department Pune and Air Products (NYSE: APD), a world leader in industrial gases megaproject development and execution to create Anandvan Dense Forest. Today this 6,000 square feet mini forest project. The mini forest has been set up using the Miyawaki technique of growing forests in a shorter period of about 20-30 years, including smaller green patches that grow in two years, unlike naturally grown forests.

Today, this newly created mini forest in Pune that houses 1,600 saplings consisting of over 100 native and rare varieties was inaugurated by Shri Mukesh Sanap the RFO, Ms Sushila Mani the MD of Air Products India and Shri Praveen Kumar Anand, Founder President Anandvan Foundation also graced the occasion.
