Anandvan Mitra Mandal and the Maharashtra Forest department today jointly organized a mega plantation drive near Antulenagar, Pisoli to plant 500 native plants.
We had volunteers from different parts of Pune .From toddlers to seniors all have participated in this plantation program.
We are so glad to see that concept of the urban forest is gaining a lot of momentum and it’s spreading wildly in the minds of people.
AnandVan is also very thankful to Mr. Gurvinder Bindra ,founder of Bindra catering and hospitality to be a part of todays event .He came with his staff and motivated us all.
We are honoured to have Mr and Mrs Colonel (Retired) Pramod D Kulkarni, founders of Vidyashilp School to be a part of this drive and also promised to maintain these plants and nourish them.
And many thanks to Shriram & Pramod who grew 20 saplings in their balcony and donated them to this mega plantation drive organized by Anandvan Mitra Mandal and the Maharashtra Forest Department.
Last, but not least AnandVan Mitra Mandal thanks all the volunteers of all age groups, who helped us in the drive and made this event a big hit and it aims to create more Urban forests and help the world the help against climate change.
